Kalia Dimitrova (Skopje 1991) has a degree in political sciences from the Faculty of Law Iustinianus Primus at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje. Her master's degree in the field of cultural studies brings her to the Netherlands, Poland, and the United States, where she studies and lives until 2016, before returning in Skopje. In 2018 she published her first book of poetry Witches today. In 2018 she became part of the team behind the Firstborn Girl Festival. Currently, she is working at the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights of the Republic of Macedonia. She is the Coordinator and editor-in-chief of the first feminist platform in the Macedonian language - Medusa (www.meduza.mk).
