Changes in the perception of menstrual poverty in North Macedonia and Croatia
In light of Menstrual Hygiene Day which is on May 28th Udruga PaRiter and Tiiiit! Inc. are organising an online discussion on menstrual poverty in both North Macedonia and Croatia. As the debate on period poverty and consequently period justice is gradually taking on larger proportions, furthering the cause with some tectonic changes both in the public discourse and in the availability of free menstrual products in different educational institutions, we are happy to invite you to our open discussion on different models of ensuring that women, girls, and other people who use menstrual products have access to them.
🩸 "Changes in the perception of menstrual poverty in North Macedonia & Croatia" is hosted by Tiiiit! Inc. from Skopje, Northern Macedonia, and PaRiter from Rijeka, Croatia. The discussion will take place live, online on Facebook,on the 31st of May at 17.30 hours.
🩸 The panellists are all women who are active in the field of eradication of menstrual poverty from both countries: Teodora Krstevska, councilor at the City of Skopje Council, North Macedonia; Jana Kocevska and Elena Petrova from the organization Tiiiit! Inc., North Macedonia; Ana Marija Sikirić Simčić PhD, assistant professor at the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Rijeka, Croatia; Marinella Matejčić, Program coordinator for women's rights and reproductive justice in PaRiter Teodora Mileska from Period.
